Best Persian food west of Tehran.

H O R R I B L E! The soltani / barg meat was tasteless and dry, the sbazi was over cooked and unsalted, the Maust' Khiar Yogurt was runny! Wasted my money and time!

I really like the food, and the service is great! I love Persian food but haven't been satisfied with the quality of service or quality of food at other restaurants. I'm very happy to find such a great place.

persian food and the scene here is very good. The food was tasty. I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

I've had lunch three times in this place each time I left with bad experience, tasteless foods, old dishes, dirty utensils, being unavailable few items, rotten salad, unreasonable pricey foods and no parking around it. I'm not gonna go there again.

Great quality food. I have been going to this Persian restaurant for years and noticed that they have been able to keep up with the quality. Highly recommend it.

The koobideh chicken and beef is ok. Not great just ok. The service is terrible. The hostess was listening to music on her phone. The waiter didn't even refill our waters and when it was time to get the check we had to fill our own to go box. Never again.

Simply Delicious. I am Persian and this is The Best Persian food on the westside. Great ambiance, good food selection, and amazing middle eastern flavors. The best part is the fresh baked bread in a stone oven which is prepared right in the main dinning area of the restaurant. They are also very generous with their rice and overall portion size. The boneless chicken breast kabob is my favorite. Tender juicy and very flavorful.

My preferred place for tasty persian food. great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. there was fast and courteous service. it has an awesome atmosphere.

Solid place. The food was good, but I'm not sure the $19 kabob plate was really up to it's price point. At 12 or 13 dollars it would have been perfect. Especially since it only comes with rice - no veggies. Hummus was just ok. Service was excellent and friendly staff. I wouldn't avoid the place, but it wouldn't be my first choice for this type of food mainly based on the price to what you get ratio.

Honorable owner, helpful staff, best Iranian dish in San Diego

Food is horrible and over priced, I wasted $25 for some dry beef and salad

The koobideh was great here. This is a nice persian restaurant. Fast friendly waiters. Delicious beef kebob.

My family goes to Sholeh every Saturday for lunch and it has become a tradition I look forward to more than anything. Hector and Amir truly make us feel like we’re royalty whenever we eat there. The food is delicious, the service is unmatched, and we always have leftovers to enjoy for days. Couldn’t say enough about this place!!!

Yum. A little pricey but the portions are huge! Easily got another meal in my to-go box.

Food was average, but cost too high. Pita was too hard and burnt. Paid with gift card and left tip in cash. The waiters took more out of the gift card as tip without my approval. Found out 2 days later when I went to use the gift card somewhere else. Never going here again.

Staff is polite. Had to wait until after eating to get nan. Hummus was so so, not especially flavorful. Lamb and rice were delicious. Pleasant environment.

Pretty good.First time eating Persian, food was great, service was good too!

If you need some good Persian, Flame has you covered. The food seems authentic and tastes excellent. The burani or the maust khiar are delicious appetizers along with the perfectly cooked bread. For the main course, I'm a fan of the beef koobideh, and the salad side is extra tasty with the addition of some exotic fruit. Also, if you are looking for a romantic atmosphere, this is the place.

Terrible service and people. Food is nasty. Very disrespectful. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

One of my preferred places for tasty persian food. Very appetizing. Definitely worth going back to. Feels like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed visiting.

Pros: nice and friendly staff. Served professionally and prepared what we asked for.One of the meals ( Tahdig and Stew) was good.Cons: you definitely should not go there for Kebabs. Persian Kebab was not even close to what it should taste. Overall, it was a good a good meal for us, considering not having enough time and just passing LA.

If you like Persian food, this place is good. Parking is a bit of a problem they only have a couple of spaces in the back of the restaurant. I suggest Salmon kebab it’s really tasty.

Loved the food and the service!I had Ash Reshteh Soup and Zereshk Polo (rice) without meat. Delicious for a someone who enjoys vegetarian dishes. This is my first time trying proper Persian food, so I can't compare to other Persian food places yet, but food was great, and service even better.

Outstanding scene for quality Persian food. Service treated us so kindly. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

Well customer service, you can find fresh bread where they bake there which they serve it with the meal that was my daughter favorite. They offer Tea after your meal which is optional . I’m not fan of chicken but i try the chicken kabab and it was so yummy the koobideh and barg kabbab was good not perfect but good i expected more juicy and was a little bit dry for me and my company.

We had a party of 12 on a Saturday night. Good food and good service at a range of prices from moderate to expected ($16 to mid-$20s) . I had the filet mignon with the basmati rice, item #31 on the menu, and it was perfect.

Tasty Persian food but you're definitely going to pay for it. The filet mignon kebabs are delicious and definitely a must try if you're coming here. However, beware of the extra charge you'll receive if you get half salad and half rice. The flat bread and butter is also delicious.

A top place for tasty persian food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It has a great interior.

Good location for Persian food. Visited on Fri I believe. Prices are fair I would say.

Not only rude but unethical and even illegal conduct. They refused service to me for having a service animal [ID was even presented] solely based on the manager's personal preference. There's a cute little cafe callrd Naab down the street; save your time, money and avoid this place if you love dogs/believe in doing the right thing. Oh & I drove 2 hours from the desert, kindly spoke Farsi to them, only to be told "we will not serve you".

Came here with friends who dine here regularly. Â Had the Shirazi salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and parsley), Boneless Chicken Kebab with rice and finished off with baklava for dessert. Â Food was pretty good and service was ok.Among the numerous Persian restos in this 'hood, Flame Persian Cuisine is small and very intimate -- perfect for a date. Â They don't crowd their tables too close so if someone in your party is on crutches or wheelchair bound, it's an easier place to navigate than Shamshiri Grill (which has a fun and lively atmosphere, but crowded). However, if you're with friends, you'll need to speak in a whisper (as we did) so you won't get dirty looks from the servers and patrons.

Food was cold and very BAD ... the guy was in the bad mood

The worst Persian food I've ever had in the north America. Tahdig/crispy rice was so hard and dry (old) that my teeth still hurts after 2 days. I asked koobideh with half salad and half rice as the side but the waiter changed it to koobideh with rice plus a dish of salad to charge me more. Kashkebademjan, tahdig toppings (ghormeh sabzi and gheymh) all so tasteless. On top of it everything was so overpriced. Even the chairs were old and uncomfortable.

We like a lot going out. Last night we arrived in this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a beautiful experience there with fine meal and a nice crew and a talented chief cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will surely return soon. We warmly recommend.

My top spot for tasty Persian food. Definitely one of the best places in the area. I'll return family next time. Prices were good for how much you get.
